Hsing Yun Education Foundation

"The Wisest of Us Leaves Education as His Legacy."

— Venerable Master Hsing Yun (1927–2023)

Education is the foundation of a better world. Venerable Master Hsing Yun dedicated his life to making knowledge accessible to all, believing that learning is the key to wisdom, compassion, and social harmony.

HYEF Marquee @ 2026 BBF Sydney:  Planting Seeds of Peace and Goodness

In line with this year's festival theme, Harmony, Peace and Coexistence, the Hsing Yun Education Foundation warmly invites you to visit our marquee at Darling Harbour. Take part in our Kindness Challenge and join the AI voice interactive experience, where you can make a personal vow to practise the Three Acts of Goodness and receive a personalised Dharma card from Venerable Master Hsing Yun. Carry the spirit of doing good deeds, speaking good words, and thinking good thoughts with you as a source of wisdom and blessing in daily life.

You are also welcome to explore Venerable Master Hsing Yun's books, One-Stroke Calligraphy, and calligraphy-inspired gifts. Begin with one kind thought, and together let us sow seeds of peace and hope for ourselves, for others, and for the world.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country, particularly the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation

on whose land Buddha's Birthday Festival is located. We recognise their continuing connection to land,

waters and culture and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
